2017 Robert E. Henkin Government Relations Fellowship Application Being Accepted

SNMMI is currently accepting applications for the 2017 Robert E. Henkin Government Relations Fellowship. The fellowship is designed to provide gifted and highly motivated young nuclear and molecular imaging professionals with first-hand experience in the process of health policy development. Young professionals are defined as residents, fellows (physician), scientists or technologists who have completed their training within the last 10 years.

The recipient will receive a $1,000 stipend plus reimbursement for travel and related expenses. Among the highlights of the program, the recipient will spend a day on Capitol Hill meeting with their members of Congress and meet with representatives from CMS, FDA, NIH, and the NRC. The fellow will also be appointed to the SNMMI/ ACNM Committee on Government Relations to serve a term no less than one year.

Prospective applicants should submit their applications by December 28, 2016 at 11:59pm ET.
